DigiEye with the DigiPix software is ideal for Quality Control of coloured products where the criticality of the colour is paramount such as lipstick, blusher and eye shadow. The non-contact colour measurement ensures that the coloured product is not spoiled by the measurement and very small, curved surfaces or irregular surface can be measured with ease including eye liner pencils, soaps and gels.

As the DigiEye system uses non-contact imaging and colour measurement, samples are measured in their original container - impossible to assess using a standard spectrophotometer; the colour measurement therefore includes the aesthetics of the bottle of, for example, cosmetics or perfume, and will assess the effect of the tint or reflection from the bottle.
