DigiTizer - Colour Calibration Chart
We now produce our own bespoke calibration reference chart as a replacement for the GretagMacbethTM ColorChecker DCR chart, which is no longer available.
The purpose of a colour rendition or calibration chart is to provide a completely non-subjective standard for colour comparison.
This is required by DigiEye to characterise the digital camera for colour measurement by providing data to compare, measure and analyze colour when imaged under the same conditions as a product sample.
Improved Accuracy
The DigiTizer chart is a checkerboard array of 237 coloured squares. The coloured squares have been scientifically and mathematically produced and selected to represent the widest gamut of colours possible.
VeriVide have developed their own chart specifically to increase the colour gamut covered by calibration charts by improving the colour rendition particularly in the darker colour areas. DigiTizer is therefore, an improved version of the colour calibration chart with better coverage of dark colours than the GretagMacbethTM ColorChecker DCR chart.
This will ensure improved colour accuracy in viewing and measuring on your DigiEye system.
Available to Purchase
The DigiTizer is supplied with all new DigiEye systems to calibrate the digital camera and it is also available to purchase as a separate item.
If you already own a DigiEye system and would like to update your Colour Check Chart by purchasing a DigiTizer Chart a software upgrade will be required. This will be supplied in conjunction with the new chart.
