DigiEye takes to the road!

John Dakin, VeriVide, with Rachel Bettinson & Robert Jackson of Wira InstrumentationAs part of the ongoing promotion campaign for DigiEye, a series of roadshows has been organised. These provide a great opportunity to come and see DigiEye for yourself, ask any questions you may have regarding the system, and hear a talk by an industry expert.

The first two roadshows have now taken place, and with great success, but we are pleased to announce that there are still two roadshow dates you can make it to!

The textile roadshow on the 13th May, will compromise of two talks by Gail Waddington of PPT, followed by live product demonstrations, a question and answer session and a buffet lunch.

Gail Waddington is the technical manager at PPT. Her main focus is project work, investigations and wear trials, and she has 10 years direct experience in colourfastness testing. PPT has been a provider of textile technology to the textile industry for 50 years. Throughout their existence, they have traded as an international business, and their scope of business and services has continually grown and developed.

On the 14th May, there will be a more generic show in the morning, we will be covering industries including packaging, plastics, carpet, medical and cosmetics, but everyone is welcome to see DigiEye, and please bring along any samples that you may have. Then in the afternoon, the roadshow will focus more on food applications of DigiEye. This date will follow the same agenda as the previous day, beginning with a talk by Mike Pointer from the National Physics Laboratory (NPL).

Mike Pointer works in the Centre for Optical and Analytical Metrology. The National Physics Laboratory (NPL) is the United Kingdom's national standards laboratory. They are a world-leading measurement science laboratory. NPL is, an internationally respected and independent centre of excellence in research, development and knowledge transfer in measurement and materials science. These two dates are being held at the i-D Centre in Derby on the 13th-14th May 2003.
