DigiEye's Continual Growth
As a result of the continuing success of the DigiEye system VeriVide Limited are pleased to welcome Craig Taylor, to the company.
Craig’s career in the Textile & Colour Industry started in 2000 as a Laboratory Technician for Pretty Polly, during which time he studied for his HNC in colouration from Nottingham Trent University, which he completed in 2003.
Whilst at Pretty Polly he established a quality system and procedures within the laboratory to allow for the application of LACE accreditation (Laboratory Accreditation, Correlation & Evaluation).
In 2003 Craig commenced work at Technicare as a Textile testing technician, learning more varied aspects of textile chemistry and manufacture and also held responsibilities as an accreditor for the LACE scheme and work on more specialist testing in late 2003.
Whilst at Technicare, Craig was also heavily involved in the use of the DigiEye system.
When, in 2004 Technicare became part of the Bureau Veritas Group, with their comprehensive range of services including inspection, testing, auditing, certification and related technical assistance, Craig continued his responsibilities as a laboratory accreditor, become the manager of the LACE accreditation scheme and took up an additional role as a committee member for the British Standards group for colourfastness TCI81. In January 2007 he began the coordination of the global installation of DigiEye systems in to the Bureau Veritas group which was closely supported by VeriVide Ltd.
In October 2007, and as a result of announcement of relocation plans for Bureau Veritas, Craig joined VeriVide in the role of DigiEye Applications Manager and since his move to VeriVide he has travelled to many countries to install new systems and also to service and train on existing ones.
In July 2008 Craig, together with Paul Dakin and Mick Butterworth, will be on the VeriVide stand at ITMA Asia demonstrating numerous applications of the DigiEye System and will also be exhibiting the DigiEye Large Area Imaging system to the many expected visitors.
