The DigiEye hardware consists of two main elements; A High-resolution Digital Nikon Camera with a Nikkor lens to image and collect colour data and a Unique Illumination Cabinet – developed by VeriVide, gives an even and consistent illumination to the international CIE standard*

The Full DigiEye System also features Camera stand, Calibration chart and a White uniformity board with both DigiGrade and DigiPix software, camera characterisation, monitor calibration, Colour QC package enabling input/export of qtx files and a shade storage library.

DigiPix, part of the DigiEye system from VeriVide, successfully captures images and provides non-contact measurement for a wide variety of industries including Food, Cosmetics, Automotive, Construction and many areas of the Textile sector; Apparel, Furnishing and Flooring.

DigiEye’s ability, using the DigiPix software, to select and retrieve colour data from any pixel in the high-resolution image allows the measurement of very small or irregular shaped samples.

The DigiGrade software as been specifically designed for the textile industry for automatic, reliable Colour Fastness Grading.

The DigiGrade application can grade colour fastness test samples digitally, by the use of a digital camera giving objective, accurate, speedy results including light fastness and rubbing tests.

Grading is available for both Change of Shade and Staining.

The Large Area Imaging Cabinet can be used in place of the standard size DigiEye cabinet. Allows comparison of a complete outfit against the standard outfit and is large product such as a full printed pattern repeat of fabric or carpet or for imaging interior car panels and other large components.

The hardware consists of a walk in imaging booth, two tower lighting units, a Nikon camera with a Nikkor lens, Nikon power supply and a tripod, a Calibration chart and a White uniformity board.
